I’ve been self-employed in several businesses, mostly as a technical writer or a creative writer, as a photographer, and selling cookware, hearing aids, insurance and personal safety devices. I was even an Avon Lady for a time.
I’ve spent many years in the corporate environment, where I remain today, sometimes with large companies and sometimes with start ups, in writing, sales and training. I understand something of how business works, and of how employees and employers should work. I’ve learned the significance of constant self-improvement and of being true to your core values.
I’ve long been a fan of business literature, and have studied the best of Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, Og Mandino, Napoleon Hill, Art Williams, and Robert Kiyosaki, then add the likes of Nightingale, Carnegie, Covey, Hinckley, Canfield, Johnson, Orman, Limbaugh, Johnson and Maltz, to name a few. I frequently use their profound philosophies as a basis for what I think and what I’ve done. So it will show up in my writing.
I think five paragraphs that begin with “I” are enough. Don’t you?
