I came across DRFT Sports Training while
researching Michael Jordan. The goal of DRFT – Dave Ruben Fitness Training – is to “improve the overall performance of athletes,” but this Athlete Note could just as easily be talking about you and your job.
I recommend you print this out and answer the questions seriously, not with simple yes/no responses. Explore and defend your answers with examples.
Once you’re comfortable with the results, copy the questions and ask your coworkers to answer for you. Compare their responses with yours, and that should give you a pretty good ruler to go by.
Do you get the most out of your ability?
Do you have a positive influence on your teammates?
Do you have a nose for the ball?
Do you make big plays?
Do you make teammates better when you are in the game?
Do you anticipate what is about to happen in a game or event?
Are you coachable?
Can you adapt to different situations?
Do you rise to the occasion?
Do you have a killer instinct?
