That’s a line from Howard Qu, whom I heard at a convention in Las Vegas last year: “a made-up mind is an irresistible force.”
Which reminds me of the new soldier who gets long and steamy letters every day from his girlfriend. The recruit puts up with it day
after day and the letters get hotter and hotter and finally he can’t take anymore. He runs out the door, but he is accosted at the gate. “Soldier,” the MP says, “where are you going in such a hurry?” And the love-sick soldier says, “My mother is in heaven, my father is down in that other place, and my girlfriend is in Chicago. I’m seeing one of them tonight.”
Napoleon Hill said it another way: “What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”
