If you’ve seen my photo, you know I’m not hip. Not anymore. Once upon a time, I knew the Top 40, I knew the top movies. Then it got to where I didn’t anymore. Today, I’ve never heard of any singers my children listen to. On a list of the 20 highest paid actors last year, I’ve never heard of three of them. Tobey McGuire made $32 million last year, and I don’t even know Tobey’s gender. Four 
of the remaining stars I know their names but have never seen their movies. So 35 percent of the top actors of our day have had zero influence on me.
Of the ones I have seen, I am surprised at how much they make compared to others on the list. Drew Barrymore, $22 million, of course, worth every dime. Brad Pitt, $25 million, fair enough.
