
When I worked at the college, it was decided that we needed a new slogan, a new catch phrase to attract the best and brightest from around the country. The boss gave us a week, I needed three minutes. I thought about what all college students really want, what all parents want for their college students, and what all colleges want for their graduates. Only one idea, one concept seemed to fit everyone’s wants:

Read a newspaper from the past few months, the past few years. Look at all the people who now wish they had gone to a school that would have taught them not to do stupid things, like all those guys at Enron. Wouldn’t they have been better off not being stupid?
