Frank Sinatra would be rolling over in his grave. Or at least Frank’s people would be.
I was listening to Jim Rohn in the car, coming home from tennis. I often
listen to Take Charge Of Your Life in my little university on wheels. Mr. Rohn said something like this: “When they write the story of your life, let it record your wins and your losses, but don’t let it say that you never played.”
You have to play, you have to be in the game, but you can’t be in it for the winning or the losing. You reason for playing has to be more than that. You have to have a better why than that. You have to nail down your why.
“Get a why,” says Dave Limpert, “but not just any why, your why.”
