Like a lot of things, video games are not my area of expertise. I stink stank stunk at Space Invaders and haven’t tried many games since then. I like Text Twist and Bespelled, but only play about once a year. But I’m interested in a game Nintendo is releasing called Brain Age.
The new game “is aimed at people who don’t care for standard shoot-‘em-up fare” – that’s me – but “challenges you to solve puzzles … and to read text.” Cool.
The result, your score, compares your speed and accuracy with norms for different ages, so you can determine your “brain age.” While there is no guarantee you will improve your mind, it couldn’t hurt. Ryuta Kawashima, a neurologist in Japan, where Brain Age has sold some 3,000,000 copies, says that “you can keep your brain youthful by quickly performing mental activities.”

It's funny.. one of the "games" is a stroop task. I'll be all the undergrads running in psych experiments all these years wouldnt call these "games" more like "hell"
