Whatever your position, come to work each day happy to be there, glad to be part of a successful effort, pleased to have the opportunities you have. Jeff Wurio
One opportunity we have is to be happy, or at least “the pursuit of happiness.” But it seems too many of us must be doing it wrong.
I have a friend named Robert Brusman. Robert doesn’t have a book, he doesn’t have a web site – he doesn’t even blog – and, he doesn’t know I quote him. But I heard him speak one time about being happy, and his ideas stuck. Robert says:
Be friendly. Be understanding of others. Worry about your own faults. Never offend, never be offended. Enjoy life today. Be fair.
I apologize to Jeff Wurio. I have the words to an article he wrote called “Seven Things To Say Every Day” but I failed to note where it came from, and I cannot find in online. When I find the source, I will note it here, and create a link if possible.
