"These are my new shoes. They're good shoes. They won't make you rich like me, they won't make you rebound like me, they definitely won't make you handsome like me. They'll only make you have shoes like me. That's it." Charles Barkley
Just imagine what would happen to the celebrity
endorsement industry if celebrity endorsers were that honest, or if advertising companies took the same approach. “Yeah, buddy, drive our car, drink our beer, eat at our overpriced but trendy café, the women still won’t talk to you, you will still look like you do, and you’ll still be a loser. But, hey, thanks for your money.”
Wouldn’t it be refreshing to hear more honesty, like Shaquille O’Neal: "I'm tired of hearing about money money, money, money, money. I just want to play the game, drink Pepsi, wear Reebok."
