Last year's Caption Contest generated well over 3,000 entries, sending the Speed Bump staff scurrying into their holes for some quality reading time. They emerged a month later, pale and giggling, with a worthy winner in hand. Having reclaimed our sanity, not to mention a little color in our skin, we've decided to do it all over again. So, put "caption contest" in the Subject line, and send your caption to us, and we promise it will get a fair look. This is a great project for teachers and their classes, by the way...but hey, it's also fun for non-teachers, too.
The prize will be three signed books, the original artwork, and the cartoon itself printed on your choice of merchandise. You'll also receive the cartoon as it appears on the comics page. Off you go!
