According to Jim Rohn, in The Art Of Exceptional Living, there are five key abilities we can develop to foster a more successful lifestyle. He doesn’t mention specifically that you should stick your head out the car window or office window sometimes, but it probably is a good idea. What follows is a paraphrase of Rohn’s ideas.
Develop The Ability To Absorb
Be like a sponge, Rohn says, don’t miss anything. Don’t miss the words, the atmosphere, the aromas. Remember things, pay attention, notice what is around you. Get “from” the day, not just “through” the day. Wherever you are, be there. Participate. Take pictures. Take notes. Keep a journal. Memorize places and people.
