
Two stories appeared next to each other in my local paper. One was about millionaires. There were more than 8.3 million households in the “with a net worth of $1 million or more” in 2005, a jump of more than 800,000 over the previous year. That’s a lot
of money. That’s a lot of millionaires, and, from what I read, most of them are people who have worked hard and long and lived prudently while amassing their fortunes.
