I subscribe to several e-mail newsletters, and two arrived this morning. One is brand new to me, and this was my first issue. It is called Sales Caffeine: A Weekly Multimedia Sales Jolt by Jeffrey Gitomer, and has articles about good and bad promotions, handling youth prejudice and showin gratitude.
The other, a long-time favorite, AdvantEdge by Nightingale Conant, had an excellent article called Be Unrealistic by Jeff Keller, who mentions several things we would not have – including the Internet – if not for some unrealistic dreams and efforts by many people.
I went to the library for another load of books. I decided to try a few by authors with whom I am unfamiliar: Fun Is Good by Mike Veeck and Pete Williams, Win The Crowd by Steve Cohen (The Millionaire Magician), It’s All Politics by Dr. Kathleen Kelley Reardon, It Takes A CEO by Leo Hindery, Common Sense Business by Steve Gotty. And, finally, Love Is The Killer App by Tim Sanders (and recommended by Ryan Money). Oh, and one of those Harry Potter books. I hear those are good.
