I attended a sales convention in producers giving live testimonials about how they achieved their success. I like that kind of stuff.
Introducing the first round of speakers, the company president said, “These people each earn more than $200,000 per year, and we give them less than two minutes to speak. That’s how good our people are.” I was impressed. Earning 200 grand a year, and they were just filler until the heavy hitters came on stage.
As the procession of successful individuals continued, each earning more money than the previous one, I kept notes. There were 164 people who made more than $25,000 per month – that’s per month – but less than $50,000. There were 60 who earned more than $50,000 per month but less than $75,000. There were 19 who made $75,000 but less than $100,000. Per month. There were 22 people who earned more than $100,000 per month.
I know money shouldn’t be our primary goal, but hey, that’s a lot of money. As one of the final speakers said, “I gave my daughter one heck of a wedding.”
