One of my younger daughters was curious about what I write about here, so I sat her down and she read four or five 
posts. It was difficult to tell what her reaction was, as she is pretty subdued. She pushed back from the desk after a couple of minutes. "Well," she said, trying to think of something positive to say to her daddy. "I guess it’s like for people who are really bored." Ahhhh….
Of all my kiddies, she is the least likely to be bored. She has hobbies, she likes reading, she’s creative. She’s a thinker, too, and doesn’t mind being alone. She gets that part from me, I guess.
Being bored is bad. Don’t do it. Find something to do, something useful, even if it’s just a 10-minute bath or reading a really interesting blog. Right?
