There have been only two perfect mothers, Mary, the mother of Jesus - what an experience that must have been – and Barbara Billingsly. You remember her, June Cleaver, the Beaver’s mom.
Two perfect mothers.
I remember a joke that says Mother's Day is the busiest long-distance phone day. The punch line was: Why do you think so many of us live so far away from our mothers?
Of course, it got a big laugh, but I like my mom. She wasn’t perfect, but she was great. She knew what to do and what to say when it really mattered. I’m grateful to her. The type of person your mother was isn’t as important as the type of person you become. I hope you are the type of person who would never do anything to bring sorrow or disappointment to your mother.

John this is a classic...it made me smile... and it inspired...both at the same time... I really loved this piece that summed up the day! Thanks
