When our older kids were younger kids, they watched too much television. I asked them to suggest a daily limit. My son, 10, said that nine hours a day would be about right. I laughed, until I realized that watching nine hours a day would, in fact, be a reduction. We made some changes.![]()
This is from Jack Canfield in The Power Of Focus, telling about a job interview:
His first question was, "Do you watch television? How many hours a day?" I answered, "About three hours a day."
Mr. Stone looked me directly in the eye. "I want you to cut out one hour a day; reduce your TV time to two hours per day. If you do that, you’ll be saving 365 hours per year. If you divide that by a 40-hour work week, you’ll see that you’ll have added about nine and a half weeks of productivity to your life. That’s like getting two additional months every year."

Hi John!
I didn't watch TV for a month and it really helped in my productivity! At first, it was hard...but now, I'm so happy I did it :)
