"On the second Saturday in June, England honors its queen with the official celebration of her birthday, the Trooping the Colour.
All the queen’s horses and all the queen’s men depart from Buckingham Palace in their regiments, or "colours," and march along the Mall to Horseguards Parade, then to Whitehall, as the Royal Air Force displays its finest in the air. The event has been held since the days of Charles II and offers pomp and circumstance as only the British can do it."
