A couple of the girls stopped by at lunch. One of them went to my desk, under guise of using the bathroom, and typed this note for me, which I found about six hours later:
Hello, Father. Just to tell you ahead of time, do not put this in a blog! So what’s up? How are you? What did you blog about today? Well, I have to go learn to play the guitar, so I’ll ttyl.
p.s. write me back in an e-mail. K? =]
Well, honey, I won’t have e-mail access until later, so I’ll write here. Sorry about putting this in a blog, but you won’t be surprised. Not much is up. I worked all afternoon, played tennis for an hour, ate, read for half an hour, and That Thing You Do is on in the background. So, I’m good. I’m looking forward to your game tonight. I blogged about St. Peter, Homer Simpson and Harper Lee, the explorer Shackleton, Resonant Leadership, and why stinkin’ no-good dirty lawyers make so much money. Good luck with your guitar lessons.
