From Jack Keeter, president, Pacific Sales and Marketing, published in Benefits Selling, June 2006:
Sometimes in life we might feel a little out of balance. If you don’t figure out a formula that will keep you in balance, there’s a chance you could start to spin out of control. Let me share with you my "Three Days To Success Formula."![]()
Focus Days are the days I sit face-to-face with a prospect or client. I meet prospects for an hour and clients for a half an hour. Focus Days in my practice are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I attempt to book between eight and 16 appointments on these days.
Function Days, typically Mondays and Fridays, are the days on which I focus on the inner workings of my practice. I work with my team and plan my business activities and fill my agenda.
Free Days I spend time with my family. On these days, I do nothing but have fun and enjoy the people in my life. Fun days fill 12 weeks a year.
Control your time, or it will control you. Don’t let the urgent supersede the important. Focus, function and have fun.

I know Time. It will control you.
Time Management is key in controlling the day to day functionalities of your career and so on.
