One of the easiest ways to avoid temptation is to immediately give in to it. If you want it, buy it. If you see it, take it. If you
can get it, grab it. The plan works, but it may not always be the best long-term solution to your situation. Control yourself, stick to your core principles, and do what's right.
Another thing to consider is timing. What you want may be a good thing, but not right now. A new business that suddenly has more orders than they can handle is in trouble. Sometimes you just have to wait. Rather than buying the Mercedes, invest the money and use the income from the investment to pay for the car.
Keep in mind that "people won’t remember how quickly you did something, only how well." Whatever you want to do, do it right at the right time, and you'll be happier in the long run. And, probably more likely to stay out of trouble and maybe stay out of jail.
