I don't care how good you are, there are some things that can't be done. I learned that as a young missionary in England, during the 1978 World Cup. Part of our daily routine was knocking on doors, and frankly, we were good at it.
But you can't knock on doors in England during the World Cup. Forget about it, it's worse than Wimbledon. Not only are you not going to be successful, you're liable to end up with a pint of ale in your face or a dart in your backside.
So when you’re making plans and setting goals, keep in mind that there are limits. Find a cure for cancer, great, resolve the Middle East conflicts, hey, way to go, but don't expect to knock on doors in England during World Cup. It can't be done.
