"Have you ever wondered why things always seem better after you talk to a good friend? It turns out that friendship is as good for your health as it is for your spirit. Having good friends helps lower blood pressure, relieve anxiety, and may even help you live longer." From 8 Simple Ways To Reduce Stress, Better Homes And Gardens Magazine.
If you've noticed an extra spark in my spirits lately it is because an old friend, absent many years, has become a new friend. She is nearly twice as old now as when I knew her, and so different yet exactly the same. She is bright and funny and mature and sincere and gracious and honest (she was always honest) and insightful and a sparkling conversationalist.
We chat about people we've known, about what has happened to us in all these years, and about normal stuff. The subject matter doesn't matter much. What matters is that someone who meant a great deal to me a long time ago is back, and more willing than ever to tell me what is on her mind. I just love when that happens, and it may help me live longer, to boot. It’s hard to beat that.

I loved it of course! One can never get enough of flattering compliments. I guess you don't realize the impact you have on others when you are so wrapped up in your own world. I told ya I would keep you young!!
