Apparently, there are businesses now "that pay bloggers to write nice things about corporate sponsors - without unduly
worrying about whether or not bloggers disclose these arrangements to readers." And, according to businessweek.com, "a scan of relevant blog searches strongly suggests that, often, they don't."
I must be totally naive. I promote dozens and dozens of books and authors on this site. I recommend products and services now and then. It never crossed my mind that I could do that for money. It never crossed my mind that someone might suspect me of doing that. I decide what to include in each post based on the value I see related to our topic, business ethics, character and integrity. And I try to include a little humor sometimes. Who could ask for more?
