Back in May, I mentioned that for the past three years my cholesterol level has stayed between 200 and 235, but that
after two months of being careful about what I ate and by exercising more often, my cholesterol dropped from 217 to 187.
That was a good couple of months. Sometimes in the past, after trying hard for a while I have drifted back to my more unhealthy habits, but not this time. I want to be healthy, to stay healthy, so I can live to 100. My cholesterol came back this time at 162, the lowest it’s been since I was six. Yea!
I guess the inescapable conclusion is that there is a direct relationship between our behavior and our results. I can't think of any activity where it is not true, but today it seems especially true about our health, and – other than "wine, women and song" – what's more important than our health?

Okay, I'll bite - other than "wine, women and song," what's more important?
