- Rent equipment from a reputable dealer.
- Examine the equipment for signs of wear and tear.
- Take lessons from an experienced instructor.
- Follow local rules and regulations.
(And I'll tell you this: if you're thinking about riding on one of those inner tube deals towed behind a speed boat, I just do not want to know about it. It's the dumbest thing I ever did.)
