From Inside Every Woman by Vickie L. Milazzo:
The most trusted profession [is] nursing, which is
94 percent women. One of the least trusted professions, used car sales, is only two percent women. Women make up less than 6.9 percent of the prison population, which tells us that, on the whole, women can be trusted to abide by laws and do the right thing.
A decision that seems absolutely brilliant on an intellectual level can be morally deplorable, and I believe women are more sensitive to this than men.
Our choices determine whether we live a free life or a life imprisoned, and I'm not talking about a physical jail cell. No one would voluntarily imprison herself and be her own warden yet every time we breach integrity we sentence ourselves to a mental jail.
Integrity has the final say in whether we will rise or decline, be whole or broken. When uncompromising integrity is our guide, success is authentic. And the joy of success is authentic.

Brilliant, thanks for giving women credit in a world where we are so misunderstood and underestimated. I like the bit about "mental jail, when we breach our integrity." If people all over just focused on integrity more...If a simple firm handshake and an unwritten word could seal the deal, what would our world be like? What would it be like if integrity ruled instead of deceit? No lawyers I am guessing...
