I like ice cream. When I treat myself for having accomplished
a goal, it is almost always with ice cream. When I am really stressed, distressed or depressed, I can find solace in a large bowl of the cold stuff. When I am content, I love root beer floats and home-made shakes.
Ice cream out has always been a special treat, and I’ve recently been introduced to Cold Stone Creamery – wow!
They have dozens of wonderful-looking "ice cream creations" that are made when you ask. The incredibly smooth ice cream of your choice and the "mix ins" – fruit, candy, nuts, sauces - are smooshed together on a block of frozen granite and served in waffle cone bowls. Fabulous.
The ice cream creators really put on a show, smooshing ice cream and chanting and singing. Try any flavor you like – Black Forest Dream, Breathless Boston Cream Pie, Caramel Turtle Temptation, Mud Pie Mojo – but it would be a shame to someday reach the end of your life not having tasted Germanchökolätekäke. Try some with a friend.
