
I saw another commercial with a Beatles song in it. I hate that.
Associating Beatles music with tennis shoes and corn chips and who knows what else is immoral, a sacrilege. It ain't right.
It's time we did something about it. The next time you hear a Beatles song advertising anything other than a Beatles album, protest. Stop what you're doing. Get online. Write to the offending company, write to the network. Say something like this:
Hey. Stop it. I will purchase no product from any company that degrades Beatles music in their advertising. I will watch no show sponsored by such a company. Neither will my friends, and I have a lot of friends. I mean it.
Then go snip the aglet off your Nike laces and mail it to the company, just to show that you mean business.






The guy I live with feels the same way about Beatles music and advertising. Oddly enough he also uses the word aglet.
