From Kiplinger's Retirement Report, August 2006:
A new cable network called Retirement Living, with the tagline "TV Finally Grows Up," has been designed for people 62 and older. Shows planned include Amazing Seniors, which will tell stories of older Americans who lead extraordinary lives, and The Voice, a live-audience show that will discuss issues important to older Americans.
Programming will air initially in September in New England and the mid-Atlantic markets, with a nationwide rollout to follow.
The network is being launched by John Erickson, founder of Erickson Retirement Communities.
(Note: I hope the network does well, and if they plan to show F-Troop and Gilligan's Island re-runs, I'll pretend I'm 62 so I can watch.)
