I've never tasted an alcoholic beverage, but I know its effects. Several relatives are alcoholics, and I've watched them waste their lives looking for whatever it is in the bottom of the bottle. I know people who have died in alcohol-related accidents, and people who have hurt others in alcohol–related accidents. You do, too.
So when I see an article about a well-known brewing company being involved in civic activities and community events, I wonder. What they are saying is that "we really don't care how many people die from using our products, but if we pump a small portion of our enormous profits into the United Way or March of Dimes, the survivors may not hate us."
This particular brewing company boasts of supporting 25 good and totally worthy charities, universities and communities. But that's not enough. They say they spend X dollars each year teaching people to use their products "responsibly" but that's a lie. The whole point of their products is to move people past the point of responsibility, to get a buzz on. So whatever it is they're selling, I ain't buying.

Guns kill people as well and still they are being sold out. Morality and business do not always meet, Mr. John.
