When the temperature finally drops to 65 degrees in the autumn, our thoughts turn to denim jeans and sweaters, hoodies for watching the game in the fresh evening breeze, maybe even gloves if we're out jogging before daylight.
When the temperature finally warms up to 65 degrees in the spring, our thoughts turn to short pants and t-shirts, straw hats and flip flops, maybe even swim suits.
One temperature, two contrary reactions. The only difference I can see is attitude, what we choose to think about. Too often we let our external environment control our attitude and our actions. We give in to other people or to other people's agendas. We react to what is around us rather than acting according to what is within us.
Our best success and our greatest happiness comes as we learn to act correctly despite outside influences.

Hi John, I really like your posts. I think this is becoming a pattern. I am going to print this one out and copy it onto the whiteboard before our staff meeting tomorrow. In a dental practice their are so many outside influences and actions that can through us off balance and affect our attitudes. This is a good way to remind us to keep it postive.
Thanks, Linda
