MSN is running a story about the top TV shows of the 1980s. The shows are Cosby Show, The A-Team (relax – obviously the survey team is playing a joke), The Dukes Of Hazzard (gag), Cheers, Miami Vice, Night Court, Alf, Transformers (there was a show about transformers?), Married…With Children, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
This list is heavy by eight. Only two of the shows were worth watching: Cheers, one of the most consistently funny shows ever (I love Woody singing "Kelly, Kelly, Kelly"), and Cosby, which was never really funny, but it was pleasant enough, and the women were all good looking.
Of the other shows, I’ve only seen Night Court, which had its moments, but was pretty routine in its humor. Of course, the fact that I’ve never seen, say The A-Team or Dukes Of Hazzard, doesn’t disqualify me from criticizing them. They must not have been worth watching, or I would have seen them.
