I just noticed that I’ve done 888 posts here at CoreCharacter. I don’t count them: the software we use does that automatically. I began by noting every 100th post, taking those opportunities to express thanks for everyone around the world who visits, especially the regulars and the ones who leave comments.
But I stopped noticing a while back, realizing that it is just a matter of time. If a guy does a certain number a day, a certain number a week, time is all it represents, like birthdays. I’m fifty because I haven’t died. I’ve done 888 posts because I haven’t stopped. And I won’t stop any time soon.
Rather than thank you all again, I’ll simply say how much I enjoy doing this. I think about it all the time and look forward to posting every day, and checking for comments. I see blog ideas in everything I do, and have a list of potential topics, such as “That’s Not Weird: That’s Ham.” I love telling people I work for Know More Media, and that I’m a blogger. More and more, people know what that means, and to me, it means a lot. Thanks.
