I'm struggling to read The Gospel According To The Beatles by Steve Turner. The purpose of the book is "to discover exactly what it was that turned a group of rock 'n roll musicians into guiding lights for spiritually disenchanted young people around the world." Hard to believe.
I like the Beatles, but only their music. Although I've read many Beatles books, I don't waste much energy thinking about their personal beliefs, and certainly don't model my way of thinking after theirs. To do so, simply because they are famous, seems ludicrous.
I agree with George Harrison, who said, "I'm more worried about personal happiness than I am about world happiness."
Other than selling newspapers and magazines and TV spots, I've never understood why celebrity voices have any weight. Who cares what people like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise think about anything? I say think for yourselves. You hear me: think for yourselves.

I agree with you hundred percent. Our brains are shrinking and getting corrupted by the twisted beliefs and blind following of celebrities. People worship celebrities and destroy their own thinking capacities to judge right or wrong. This blind worship is brainwashing the new genereation.
