Chex Systems - If you are having trouble opening a checking account, request a copy of your consumer report.
Annual Credit Report Request Service - Order one free report annually.
Local Law Enforcement Agencies - Obtain a report number and a copy of the report for your records.
Fraud Departments - Contact the Fraud Department of each creditor, bank or utility that provided the identity thief with credit, goods or services.
