
Christmas should not be in stores before school starts. It's bad enough to see it before Halloween, but the first week of September is much, much too soon. And the way I see it, some of you are to blame.
According to the National Retail Federation, more than one if five of us Christmas shops before October. Too soon, too soon.
Bruce Horovitz, writing in USA Today, names names, who has Christmas merchandise out already.
Costco – 45 holiday toys, decorations, lighting, gift wrap.
T.J. Maxx – full Christmas stock available.
Marshalls – ditto.
Wal-Mart – toys, decorations.
Toys R Us – the upcoming holiday being promoted is Halloween.
