A favorite line from a Big Smith song is, "you know I'd walk a mile just to hear you hum." As someone who has recently begun dating again, I know exactly what that means. Years ago, when I was on the road, I would drive four extra hours at the end of the day just to be with my children for eight hours. Of course.
What would you do for what you want? Would you pay $350 just to see Paul McCartney in concert? Would you give up television at night for 12 weeks just to take a night class? Would you get up 30 minutes earlier every morning just to work on the novel you know is in you? Would you give up your fear just so you could pitch a business idea to someone you know?
Whatever your situation, the question is: what would you do for what you want?

John, you have a way of always evoking deep thought in me. What would I sacrifice to be more? This truly is inspiring. Someone once memorized a scripture a day on their mission and the blessing they recieved from that sacrifice was a photographic memory. A small price to pay for something so great, but how many people do you know who put forth those small efforts every day?
